Part Two

Okay, I'm finished with dinner, so back to business. Just after I tell you how much better chicken thigh goes in chicken and rice. trust me there is more than white meat to like!
So that was just a random thought from my random mind so before I forget, I will tell you that tips number 13 and 14 are coming after this upcoming period.
Tip #13:
Choose the right! I bet not many have heard this saying, but it works. What, "Choose the Right" Meats, oops, means that no matter what meat you choose, get the right dark meat. Uh-oh! That was a major typo! So Please, no matter how much people say, "do this," or ,"do that," ask yourself, "is this right?" Use your agency to your advantage to choose dark over white meat, I mean right and wrong, so there, third tip down!
Tip #14:
Express Yourself! Now any girls out there might have gone off topic when I said this and thought, "boy, I sure do like Express jeans!" No, I did not come and use my time to talk about those skinny jeans that you have been dying to have. So if you like to play music, sports, do the school play or drawing, go for it! Nobody is stopping you! So please get involved and save yourself from being idle, I'm begging you!
Now that I got all the tips done, you can read them and use them to your advantage.

The Very, Very Long Make-Up

So, I bet you're wondering, "Why have there not been many posts lately," or "How am I going to get any tips from this crazy person if there are no posts!" So I will be pleased to inform you that tips number 11, 12, 13 and 14 will all be said in one post. So since I just finished my homework and had some delicious brownies, I will give you my next tip, tip #11:
Try to tolerate the teachers no matter how boring, mean or how weird they are! Just so you know, I have teachers of all sorts, so please don't get mad at me for trying to get along with teachers. If this is too nerdy for you I recommend you to stop reading this blog, okay? Doctor's orders!
Now that we have that settled, I really do hope you try to get along with teachers. Notice there's a difference between good student and teacher's pet. So please, pick your choice, any choice at all!
Tip #12:
Excuse me for no introduction, this blog is long enough already! Are you ready? So this is the tip: Never, Ever In The History of The World Never Try To Think You're Better Than Anyone Else! Yes, I know, you always think that just 'cause you're prettier, smarter, or a jock, or a chess champion and such, don't think you are better than anyone else. So what if you're the prettiest on in your school, are you the prettier than any movie star, actor or Miss Universe? To tell the truth no one posses all of these traits, I mean, wouldn't it be so dull if everyone were perfect?

" I Am Not So Smart."

There is people who always brag and are conceited on how smart they are, it can be hurtful and demeaning and really makes you feel like crap. Most of the people though who do this are very insecure and usually put down people to just make them the bigger person. Same with pretty and sporty people. I do not advise you to just judge an entire group all based on one person, this just makes you the bad person also. So this is my tip #10:
Try to be strong! As I said before, the people who do these things have no self control. So really it's like taking to heart what a know-it-all robot said to you, and who in the world would believe a jumble of wires and chrome? No one, unless you're a robot to! So about me, I am certainly not conceited, nor am I a know-it-all, I am me. To keep things simple, perfect is BORING!

The Make Up

I sure bet you are wondering what I mean by this. Sorry for missing a day so there will be two posts to day. So you know in high school how there is always the beautiful girl or the hot guy that all the other student population is crooning for to date or just be their friend.
This is my 9Th tip:
"Don't try to be a hibiscus when you are a lily." In other words, be your own kind of beautiful. Like me you might not have the most perfect teeth or the runway model hair all the time but in reality, most of the girls in high school fake their beauty in attempt to "fit in." There are many pretty girls in the world and most if the time, your personality matters more. So for all those daisies wanting to be roses, the truth is like DNA, you cannot change your natural self, even with plastic surgery! So my best advice is be kind to people even if they are mean to you and try to be your own inner beauty because all the make-up in the world can't fix how you feel about yourself.

Ask For Help!

Well, you know how math can get boring, or any subject for that matter. Sometimes class can't go any slower and then you start drifting away slowly until you don't even know what the teachers saying and you wonder why everyone is speaking the foreign language of numbers. Wait, numbers aren't even foreign at all! You know English! So why did you press random buttons on the calculator when the rest were doing variables? Dare to not do just what I said, unless you are a slacker, which I bet none of you reading this are. So the solution that always works.... Cheat! No, this is the real tip:
Ask for help! Now just like what I did today, ask anyone who knows what's what. Now what I mean by help is do not think that the person helping you is going to do your homework for you, after they tell you and show you how to do it, you do it also. So not only are you getting work done, you're learning, which is the whole point of homework!
P.S. Guys, please don't ask the girls for answers at the beginning of class to "finish" your homework okay, girls are not made to do all the work, or anyone who actually did their work!

Don't Forget Anything or You'll be Sorry

I know this is a weird title or a post, but I have to be straightforward somehow? Unlike math problems, I'll give the answer to you, not make you figure it out.
So today I was going to math and guess what? I forgot my calculator at home! Not only did we practice using a calculator, we did problems with them and had a quiz that required one! Luckily my teacher let me off the hook since it was the beginning of school.
Now here's the, "I am so sorry I did this, I will never do it a again part." Now you should be sorry if you forgot anything in school or anything of importance. So this is tip #7:
Never forget anything! One way that I do this is I have a specific spot where I keep my things, and when school starts, I know I have everything. ( This will limit apologies to your teacher because you brought everything with you!) So be sure to not make the same mistake I just did today. Promise?

The Day After the Weekend

Don't we all love sleeping in, not thinking about what is going to happen? The truth is that you can't sleep in no matter what. Now I have actually done it a couple times, and believe me, if you miss the bus or you take too much time, your teachers are not going to be very happy. I know, I know I'm going to announce the tip. You readers should have caught on by now. So this is going to be tip #6:

Don't take too much time in the bathroom and budget your time! The bathroom tip is for girls, because we usually take longer in the bathroom than boys. My motto when using make up is, " a little goes a long way." If you are my age you should wear minimal make up. We have fresher faces, so don't be getting any anti- wrinkle cream anytime soon. To give proof I'll even tell you what I wear on my face which is: A tiny bit of concealer, a little bit of bronzer, eyeshadow, eyeliner, not very much; a touch of mascara. To tell the truth it may seem a little long, although I wear small amounts. So there is no need to spend 20 minutes in the bathroom!
As for the budgeting of time I know that it is best if you have an automatic schedule so there are no iffy days. This has worked for me as long I have been in school, so if you have no schedule, right one down, your teachers and parents will thank you for it, this also makes a happier you. So please, all readers, make a before and after school schedule!

The Weekend

Now this is for all those procrastinators like me, I know how boring homework is, but to tell the truth, do you really want to be staying up till eleven on Algebra 1 homework? And what if you forget an assignment? This has all happened to me before so this is tip #5:
Get homework done before the weekend! Personally I think it's best if you do for these five reasons:
1. You get a good night sleep
2. No yelling from your parents or whoever is your guardian
3. No work to do at last minute
4. When you go someplace fun over the weekend, you enjoy it
5. Teachers are glad they don't get sloppy work
So moral of the story is do your homework first no matter how much you'd rather be doing something else.
P.S. This is also the key to good grades

Those Darn Old Boring Days

Have you ever heard the term, "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade?" Today I had about a bucketful of lemons. So much I think my lemonade is sour! So here's the good news so you don't make the same mistakes I did.
You know on Fridays there's all the football games, leisure time and nothing in the margin of a few hours nothing matters? I know that feeling. I would not call it joy though. And then they're the Fridays that just can't seem to go any slower. I am proud to say that help is here so you can avoid all the just plain boring stuff or at least help you. So here's tip # 4:
Just act like it is a game! It cannot make it any simpler. Teachers hate it when you disrespect them. The better you are in class, the more points you earn, disrupt and you loose them. This is like in Harry Potter. I am so sorry for the lecture, my Dad does it to me all the time, I guessed it rubbed off on me.

Getting Used to It

High school comes with many challenges. One of them is finding your classroom and locker all in short amount of time. Today it took me the whole five minuets just to find may classroom! As I was walking along the "freeway" of the school, I was intimidated by all the upperclassmen. I am only five one, so to me they were giants! This is why I came up with tip # 3:
Know your school and don't run into people at all costs. The reason why you should know your school is, every freaking school is different. Yes, I know how much they look like dismal boxes of doomsday, the thing is, it saves time in the hallways. The more you know your schedule, the happier you'll be. Little hint: maybe you can do some extra socializing, just don't be late for the bell!
Now about the topic of running into people, I recommend doing a speed walk if you can, watch where you go and be sure to always know what you're doing. I mean, who wants to go to the wrong period and get a detention? So just be sure to drive safely on the "freeway." ( Mom must be rubbing off me!) So there it is.

The First Day

Well, it is late and I am getting tired, so I will keep this short and simple. In school I learned that high school is more than just grades, it is also about making friends. This brings me to tip #2:
Always try to make new friends in the first day of school. Now I'm not saying if you're a prep go and be punk, I'm only saying you should be friends with people other than your little circle, it really helped me.
My mom is telling me to get to bed so I better leave. No matter what.

The Day Before

So I might be the weird teenager but who cares. So why am I here, to give tips on how to survive high school. There may be prom, guys and boring classes along with mystery meat lunches. Okay, here's tip #1

Pack on the first day of school, avoids waiting in line and usually helps with not being the last one to eat, trust me, I've gone through this. And be sure the lunch has at least one item with whole wheat and protein. This will help you survive the long classes. Don't like whole wheat? Opt for Sara Lee whole grain bread. Not only does it look like white bread, it tastes like it. An easy way to include both whole wheat and protein is have PB&J or with added lunch meats to a sandwich. Just be sure to go light on mayo and mustard, it takes away all nutrition if you do it.
